Baba Miller has been on my radar going on 5 years now as I once thought the 6'7/6'8 point forward would be an intriguing entry into the 2022-23 draft cycle. Fast forward to 2026 and now 6'11/7'0, Miller enters the league with a special toolkit, toggling between frontcourt positions while impacting the game in a variety of ways. His passing vision is arguably his most important trait, consistently making quick connective reads from the elbows, the short roll, or in transition. His defensive versatility offers a wide range of momentum based outcomes and he thrives when attacking closeouts, handling in space, and functioning as a secondary creator rather than a primary scorer. The question has never really been about talent...but more about consistency and a wavering physical assertiveness. After years of watching Miller, there is still moments I visually can still see him mentally growing into his body, causing many of his most impressive moments to be viewed more about projection/versatility instead of production/impact. Even though he'll be 23 during his rookie year, Miller's unique basketball makeup still leaves him with one of the more intriguing long-term projections among prospects, as long as the window still stays open for him.
