Labeling Keaton Wagler as a "Shooting Specialist" may not sit well with people but to me he potentially sits within the apex version of that archetype, so trust me when I say it's a huge compliment. Wagler enters the next level with one of the cleanest shooting projections in the class. Compact, repeatable jumper, "Steph" range, off movement, spotting up, or relocating within the flow of an offense, his shooting really drives the convertible into the sunset. What separates Wagler from many "shooting specialists" is the pace and composure with which he plays. He rarely looks rushed, consistently makes quick decisions, and understands how to create subtle separation without needing an advanced handle or quickness. Now...the next phase of his development will revolve around expanding the game beyond his shooting gravity. I get he's a good passer but he isn't yet the guard who orchestrates an offense against set defenses. Fortunately, the foundation is difficult to ignore. High-level shooting remains one of the NBA's most translatable skills, and Wagler pairs it with sound decision-making, competitive effort, and a strong understanding of team basketball.

- Lacks elite first-step explosiveness compared to top NBA creators
- Thin frame remains a developmental concern
- Can occasionally become overly reliant on difficult perimeter shot-making
