Allen Graves reminds me of players in Call of Duty that I called "Tilters". He's not going to have the most kills at the end of the game, or the highlight no-scope everyone watched right before you defused the bomb on 'Search and Destroy, and he's not going to be the head catalyst to a spawn trap that makes you dashboard for the night. Instead, he's the "Care-Package King" with little 4 kill killstreaks here and there. He's got his handprint on every Headquarters the second it moves. He's even got 4-5 backup classes dedicated to whatever flow of the game being revealed to him......Man MW2 was a hell of a time...Anyways. Graves offensively embraces a complementary role; spacing the floor with a reliable perimeter jumper, finishing efficiently on cuts and putbacks, and keeping the ball moving with quick, unselfish decisions. His defensive versatility projects across multiple frontcourt positions, the three-point shot gives him immediate offensive scalability, and his passing feel consistently elevates the players around him. He's not an explosive creator off the bounce, nor does he consistently generate advantages through elite burst or isolation scoring but his toolkit is really what tilts the game to whatever role he decides to mimic in the moment. Of all the players in this class, Graves is a true Swiss-Army-Knife...or One-Man-Army.
PROS
- NBA-ready frame capable of matching up with both wings and forwards
- Elite anticipation generates steals and deflections at an exceptional rate
- Highly efficient catch-and-shoot threat from beyond the arc
- Efficient finisher around the basket on cuts, slips, and offensive rebounds
- High basketball IQ that plays almost entirely within the flow of the offense and defense
CONS
- Offensive game is largely dependent on ball movement and advantage situations
- May top out as an elite complementary piece rather than a main guy
- Lacks elite burst compared to high-end NBA wings
- Not a primary shot creator in half-court settings
- Handle is functional but limited against aggressive perimeter pressure
